This class will teach you the skills, tips and tricks you need to create balanced plied yarns, with a focus on chain plying (also known as Navajo or n-plying) and cable plying. Learn how these plying methods can help you control the color of your spun singles and make extra-strong yarn for socks or other high-wear items.
Skill Level: Intermediate and above. This is not a learn to spin class.
Supplies: Students must have their own wheel, in good working order, a tensioned Lazy Kate, and bring three bobbins with at least 30 yards each of spun singles, plus two empty bobbins.
