Meet Tolt staffer, Hope Penny.

Hope describes herself as a Canadian Maritimer, mum, “Tinker”, gardener, Hooker (think rugs), baker and firm believer of all things in moderation…except yarn and smiling (and friends!!)

For Hope's One Skein Holiday Project challenge she chose to make Tom's Crossed Cowl by Melissa Beach using Cascade Yarns Eco Duo (color 1705).  With the left over yarn she decided to make some wrist warmers using her own simple pattern.  Hope casted-on 30 stitches on a US 9 circular needle (32") and joined in the round.  Using the Magic Loop method, she knitted approximately 8" before binding off.  Hope then found some scrap Malabrigo Worsted yarn and crocheted some lovely edges onto the wrist warmers and then sewed on some shell buttons.
