Tuesdays, May 8 and 22, 6 to 8:30 This is the perfect time of year to knit shawls! Northwest Spring and Summer can bring beautiful weather, but the evenings can get chilly. A great summer shawl is an essential wardrobe accessory! In the first class, you will learn 5 different techniques for starting shawls. Then you will have a chance to decide on any shawl pattern as your class project (Karen will help you and will offer suggestions for a few great patterns). The second class will be a workshop where you will get individualized assistance on the pattern you have chosen.
Supplies: For the first class, please bring a worsted weight yarn from your stash and US Size 8 needles (either straight or 16-20" circulars). For the second class, you will need to purchase a shawl pattern of your choice along with supplies listed in the pattern.
