Ljósmóðir is designed for Tolt Icelandic Wool Month by Anna-Sofia Vintersol.

Ljósmóðir means Lightmother - “ljós” meaning light, “móðir” meaning mother - and is the Icelandic name for a midwife: the lightbringer of life. Being an expectant mother herself, Anna-Sofia drew inspiration from moonlight and the birth of nature for this pattern.
