Mary's words:
"Twirl is small. It is a world of sheep, angora goats, alpacas, llamas and a few angora rabbits, and me... I use the fibers my animals produce to make a rustic yarn that is the culmination of the place where I live. If the plants are not used as feed, I ask, what color will you give my yarns? I raise my animals to graze on this land, and they in turn produce incredible fibers that I then wash, and blend together, then take to my local wool mill, Yolo Wool Mill, for spinning into yarn. Then, once home, I dye, or use the natural colors of the fibers, wash, set the twist, and make into 50 gram balls for happy knitting fingers. My intent is to offer as many *good experiences* and possible to the beings that touch my fibers. To the animals, to myself, to the mill, to the folks that sell my yarns, to the knitters and to the wearers of the finished product."
